Dear Students and Parents,
This year the Coweta County Honor Band event is being hosted by Smokey Road Middle School!
This is an exciting event that showcases all of our county's talented young musicians. Our County Honor Bands are comprised of the best 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students from all of our middle schools, and provides an excellent experience for those who earn the privilege of working and performing along side distinguished guest directors from around the state and community. The event will take place at The Nixon Centre for Performing and Visual Arts on April 14th-15th.
The auditions for Coweta County Honor Band are being held at Smokey Road Middle School this Thursday, March 23rd, starting at 4:15PM.
WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING DONATIONS TO HELP RAISE BAND FUNDS. PLEASE ASSIST THE BAND IN DONATING INDIVIDUAL CHIPS, CANDY, AND SOFT DRINKS TO BE SOLD AT CONCESSIONS DURING THE EVENT.
This is an opportunity for our school to represent the county, and I know we will represent well!
